STAY
by allan sitjar and armin pacudan

just please stay for a while
and listen to what i have to say
i hope you'd understand
this song's gonna try to make you stay

i remember the times we spent together
like the memories on prom night
when we were dancing in the moonlight
our arms wrapped around each other

chorus:

now i cant sleep cause im missing you so bad
you're so far away while im reminiscing what we had
and i don't know if you feel the same
but are we really better off this way?

i won't give up till it bleeds
but you act like you just don't care
and now im trying to figure this out
and it's all so confusing, i swear

but i remember the times that we spent together
like the dates that we used to have
when the feeling was as close as heaven
i guess that's all i really have

now it's back to reality
that you would never be with me
but im still hoping you would see
that you're the only one for me

chorus:

now i cant sleep cause im missing you so bad
you're so far away while im reminiscing what we had
and i don't know if you feel the same
but are we really better off this way?

bridge:

i made this song for you
im screaming my lungs out just for you
my heart aches, but it still beats for you
my heart aches, but it still beats for you
yeah it breaks for you

chorus:

now i cant sleep cause im missing you so bad
you're so far away while im reminiscing what we had
and i don't know if you feel the same
but are we really better off this way?

chorus:

now i cant sleep cause im missing you so bad
you're so far away while im reminiscing what we had
and i don't know if you feel the same
but are we really better off this way?

----- leave lang ng comments :)

tgzk. nag emo? hahahaha :))

this is something that i don't normally share with you guys, but im gonna share it anyway :)

there was a time when i was trying to recall all of what happened during my 3rd year life (i will be entering my 4th and final year of my high school life in Ateneo), i was thinking of the times were i would laugh my lungs out, the times were i would find some place quiet and just sit there (EMO ui), and of course the times that i spent with my friends and family..

i also remembered several memorable occasions: prom night (best night ever), fiesta and campus pop, battle of the bands(i'll be better this year, i swear :D), christmas party, farewell party and a lot of other things that i really enjoyed. i also tried a lot of things that i didn't try before. so all in all it really was a good experience.

but i think the most memorable experience that i've ever had and that really stood out was in the third quarter of my school year. the time where i was starting to like this girl, i dont know, there's something about her that was really different. her smile was unlike any other smiles and her prescence was unlike any other prescence that i've ever felt. it was very confusing at first cause i didnt know what i really felt for her. but as days passed by, the hours spent with her grew longer and longer, i realized that i really liked her. she may still not believe me when i say this, but im sure of what i feel, regardless of what has happened in the past, i'm sure, that right now, i love her :)

dont get me wrong, all of my memorable experiences were special, but somehow, i felt that knowing her was the best experience of all :D :D

so after recalling those experiences, i said to myself: "man this is the best year of my life, i doubt that i'll be having a year like this again, so thank you lord for giving me such a wonderful year". thank you canisius, baileys, kabanda and nat :)

NBA: where amazing happens!! BULLS STUNS CELTiCS!

YEY!! bulls win! :))

in TD Banknorth garden, derrick rose led a stunning 105-103 win against defending champion Boston Celtics. the Celtics, which will be without the services of all-star power forward kevin garnett, failed to stop the sensational rookie, scoring 36 points and dishing 11 assists. Boston had the 2nd seed and earned a home-court advantage over chicago. but chicago, which has surprise a lot of people, earned a win at the road.

i hope the bulls do win :D

other scores:

DET @ CLE
-DET 84 CLE 102
Lebron James: 38pts 8reb 7ast
DAL @ SAS

SUMMER 09

i remembered myself saying this:
"this summer, im gonna do the things that ive always wanted to do. im gonna go learn how to play the piano, play the drums, and use a skateboard. im gonna try to make a recording with my friend so i could make a CD composed of my songs. im gonna beef myself up so i'd have a bigger body (some call me a walking stick, wait till they see me after summer >:]). im gonna climb mt. apo and there is no stopping me now. (okay i made that up) i want to be complete (ooops got carried a away :D)."

well, the results so far? i have piano lessons now, but they're not as exciting as i thought they would be, though it feels great when you learn how to play it. playing the drums? nah. dad doesnt want me banging his head off. recording a CD? too expensive, and im really not that good at singing and playing guitar :)) going to the gym? sometimes. but im not really up to it. i'd rather slack off eating potato chips and laying my butt on the sofa. climbing mt. apo? did i tell you that i just made that up?

anyway, this summer aint so bad. it's just that i dont feel the essence of the summerly breeze wrapped around my skin. maybe going to beach would help it.

it's been a boring summer. and i hope yours ain't as bad as mine. so if ever you've got some ideas on how to enjoy this year's summer, please tell me. :)) i'd appreciate it.

NBA western conference playoffs

western conference:

(1) LA Lakers 65w-17L vs. (8) Utah jazz 48w-34L
(2) Denver nuggets 54w-28L vs. (7) NO hornets 49w-33L
(3) SA spurs 54w-28L vs. (6) Dallas mavericks 50w-32L
(4) Portland trailblazers 54w-28L vs. (5) Houston rockets 53w-29L

- Lakers vs. jazz:
i simply see this as an advantage to LA. considering LA has been a good home team
and also a good road team, i don't see this series as a though challenge for them. as for Utah,
this is gonna be a long series. if they want to win this they have to grind it out and work real hard
in each game. also, Utah, which has been a terrible team on the road, will have a tough time
to win in Los angeles, which is 36-5 at home. but i wont underestimate Utah, which has deron williams playing like there's no tommorow, is still considered an elite team in the west.
prediction: lakers at 5

- Nuggets vs. Hornets:
i love this matchup. david west against kenyon martin. carmelo anthony against peja (if he's healthy). nene vs. chandler (again, if he's healthy). and of course, billups vs. paul. the nuggets are, i think, one of the top teams when it comes to offense. the hornets, on the other hand, are a good defensive oriented team. i think this is a must-see series for the west. and probably, chris paul will again lead this banged-up hornets team against a healthy Denver squad. in my opinion, i think the nuggets are deserving to win this series cause simply:
* they've lost 5 straight first round series so they're probably more hungry for a series win
* they are on a mission to prove that this team could contend for a title
* they are both good on offense and defense
prediction: nuggets at 6

- SA spurs vs. dallas mavs:
i dont know about you, but this match-up is a very good series for both teams. the spurs will try to prove that they could still fight without ginobili while the mavs will simply prove that their aging superstars can still take over games. the tim duncan-dirk nowitzki and jason terrytony parker matchup will also be a big bonus for this mathcup's rivalry.
prediction: mavs at 7

- blazers vs. rockets:
it's time to prove that yao and the rockets can make it out of the first round series. a matchup with a young but talented blazers squad is a good test for them. i dont know if the rockets have the experience advantage over them (given the fact that with t-mac, they havent got out of a first round series yet), but i can tell you this: the blazers will put up a fight. brandon roy and lamarcus aldridge will again lead this team against yao, artest and the rockets, which is a dismal 20w-21L on the road. the blazers, who are a blistering 34w-7L at home, can provide a good though test for these rockets.
prediction: blazers at 7

please comment on my predictions :) tnx.

writing songs

sometimes when i've got nothing else to do i make compositions, poems or songs. at first it was really easy, it was just a matter of putting your experiences together and coming up with a catchy tune. sometimes, though, i get really frustrated at making a song that i would bang my head to the desk. its weird but yeah, it makes me feel a lot better :)

these past few days, my friend armin has been bugging me about making a band and making songs for it. the idea was great though, having to form a band consisting of only 2 people playing acoustic guitar together. hahaha. anyway, we have some great compositions already. but one thing that has really caught my attention is that i cant seem to find the words to express what i feel anymore. its funny cause i do this a lot especially when im a bit emotional (P.S i am not EMO). hopefully, i could get back to writing songs again.

so, if ever you guys have any ideas on how to get back to writing songs when youre on a slump, please tell me how. i'd really aprreciate it. and thank you for viewing my blog :)
